Had to stay away for 1 week, and read a lot of reviews on similar products that emptied themselves almost immediately as you put them in, so I decided to buy these, and they work brilliantly. I watered my plants the day before, so they were nice and moist, and then made sure I soaked the tips of the spikes in water while filling up the bulbs. I put them in a day before I left, and when I checked in on them after almost 24 hours, only a tiny bit of water had disappeared from the top of the bulb. When I got back from my week away they were empty of course, but my plants were not too dry. I recommend these, they work. I'm having another week holiday coming up this summer, and I am very pleased that I now have a system that I am confident will take care of my plants while I'm away. I have already recommended these to other growers, absolutely worth the money.

Moreover, these self-watering spikes can be used on various types of plants from houseplants, hanging plants, patio plants, outdoor plants and more. I love that it doesn't take up much space and I don't have to worry about over-watering my plants when I'm away from home. All in all, I would highly recommend the Plantpal Watering Globes if you want something that is both aesthetically pleasing and convenient for watering your plants!

Does what it says it does. They are quite big though so wouldn't recommend for small/medium plants. If you water enough they def last two whole weeks.
